Works council, management and employees of HSW donate 14.000 euros to charitable causes
The works council, management and employees of HSW once again made donations to charitable causes this year. After an economically very successful year, various organizations were supported at the turn of the year 2021/22, which are primarily committed to helping children and young people in need of protection.
5000 euros go to the child protection association in Spaichingen. When the check was handed over, Executive Partner Kathrin McKenna thanked the board members Gabi Balk and Jochen Merkt for their outstanding commitment. "Children and young people in particular are in particular need of protection not only because of the pandemic, but also in general. That's why we are very happy to support the work of the child protection association," explained Kathrin McKenna. The amount goes to various projects of the association.
Henke-Sass, Wolf regularly supports regional clubs, projects and initiatives from Tuttlingen and the surrounding area. With the support of the management, the Henke-Sass, Wolf works council organized a large raffle with attractive prizes this Christmas. Together with a cookie and liqueur sale, a total of 8000 euros was raised. 4000 euros each could be donated for the enormously important work of the outpatient children's hospice service Kuckucksnest from Neustadt and the child protection association Tuttlingen. The works council and management would like to thank all employees for their very generous willingness to donate.
And finally, HSW also supported the German Red Cross Tuttlingen with 1000 euros. This amount enabled hygiene training for all elementary school students at the neighboring Anton Braun School. Schoolchildren are particularly at risk during the pandemic. The training courses are intended to help increase knowledge and awareness of the distance and hygiene rules that are unfortunately necessary at the moment.
